As a rule, Russian voiced consonants become voiceless, when they are located at the end of words. But it occurs only with the consonants, that have voiceless pairs (Б, В, Г, Д, Ж, З):гроб – grop
дробь – drop’
кров – krof
кровь – krof’
рог – rok
лад – lat
гладь – glat’
лез – l’εs
лезь – l’εs’
нож – nosh
ложь – losh
