ANSWERS TO THE PREVIOUS EXERCISE:
A. He works as a doctor.
Present Tense (a fact).
B. Is your brother sleeping now?
Present Tense (a process).
C. It never happens to me.
Present Tense (never).
D. We have been studying for 3 hours.
Present Tense (a process).
E. I have sent you a message.
In sentences like this we use the Past Tense and not the Present one, because the part “have sent” specifies a result, whereas Russian Present Tense usually expresses facts, repeated actions or processes.
F. The Moon is a satellite of the Earth.
Present Tense (a well-known phenomenon).
G. Sometimes I want to call you.
Present Tense (a repeated action which is performed sometimes).
